The Ultimate Fighter 6: Week 3 Ratings Up Slightly

The third episode of The Ultimate Fighter 6 drew a 1.1 television rating, rebounding slightly from last week’s 1.0 rating.  Despite the modest increase this week and a solid debut, the sixth season of the reality series still trails past seasons:

Through the first three episodes of their twelve-episode regular seasons, the average overall ratings for previous seasons of The Ultimate Fighter were 1.7 for TUF 3; 1.6 for TUF 4; and 1.3 for TUF 5. At this point, TUF 6 is averaging a 1.2 overall rating through its first three episodes.

In the 18-to-34-year-old male demographic, the averages for previous seasons of TUF after the first three episodes were 3.0 for TUF 3; 2.6 for TUF 4; and 1.9 for TUF 5. Through its first three episodes, TUF 6 is averaging a 1.6 rating in this demographic.

In the 18-to-49-year-old male demographic, the averages for previous seasons of TUF through three episodes were 2.3 for TUF 3; 2.0 for TUF 4; and 1.7 for TUF 5. In its first three episodes, TUF 6 is averaging a 1.3 rating in this demographic.

    The ratings will probably pick up towards the later episodes, since the best fighters in the house will be fighting towards the last few episodes like the semi-finals.
