Just in case you needed help getting hyped for UFC 82, tonight Spike TV will be airing “UFC 82 Countdown: Silva vs. Henderson” at 11 p.m ET. The countdown will also re-air on Wednesday, February 27 at 11pm and Saturday, March 1 at 6:00pm.
Here is a brief summary of what we’ll see on tonight’s show according to the UFC.com listing:
“Brazil’s Anderson Sliva prepares to defend his middleweight title against PRIDE titleholder Dan Henderson. See how they train, what they eat and what they are doing to prepare in their homes in Brazil and California.”
In case the graphic above didn’t give it away, UFC 82 “Pride Of A Champion” will be broadcast live on pay-per-view Saturday, March 1, from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.

Does everyone out there think that silva is gonna beat up Henderson…. I just don’t see it. It just seems like if Henderson gets his hands on silva it should be advantage Hendo! Don’t get me wrong Silva is a badass but Hendo is no slouch… Who is gonna win….
dan is going to win
But i gots a problem with joe silva and his decision of what fights to put on the main card.
Heath Herring doesn’t deserve to be on the main card, he should have been kicked out after his fight against o brien(really horrible fight).
He should definetly put andrei arlovski on the main card. And try to air diego and koscheck if theres enough time. I want to see all the fights, main card and prelims. Dana white shouldn’t be that greedy charging everyone an extra dollar per fight for prelims on the event that you pay 45 f***ing dollars for.
