According to an interview with TheFightWorksPodcast.com, Joe Stevenson (4-1 UFC) will face Kurt Pelligrino (2-1 UFC) at UFC 74 on August 25th.

Stevenson was the winner of the welterweight division on season 2 of The Ultimate Fighter over Luke Cummo. Most recently Stevenson was featured in the main event at UFC Fight Night 9 where he defeated Melvin Guillard before one minute of the contest had expired.

Pellegrino also last fought at UFC Fight Night 9 where he defeated Nate Mohr with an ankle lock in the first round. In his UFC debut at UFC 61 Kurt lost to Drew Fickett but rebounded with a win at UFC 64 against Junior Assuncao. He is riding a 3 fight win streak coming into the bout.

UFC 74 is headlined by a main event of Randy Couture vs. Gabriel Gonzaga and a rumored bout between Josh Koscheck and Georges St. Pierre. Diego Sanchez is also expected to fight at the event. For more on the event check out our UFC 74 rumors page.
